Texas State Cyclocross Championships

Joseph finished 1st place in the Men’s B category at the Texas State Cyclocross Championships held on January 7. That was the finish of a very successful Cyclocross season, where he ended up in first place overall in the Texas Bicycle Racing Association Championship Series in both Cyclocross Men’s B Division I (10 races) and Division II (6 races).

Texas State Skill Based Criterium Championships on Memorial Day. This shot was taken midway in the race. Joseph finished third in the Cat 3 race, finishing between two off the front and fourth behind him, all well in front of the rest of the field. He rode solo for about 5 laps prior to the finish.

Crash in the Junior Road Nationals JM17-18 Crit. Joseph's in the yellow/orange jersey under the rider who's legs are in the air. Joseph got up and ran to the pit for a double wheel change, got back into the race, then realized his back brake was rubbing and pulled out of the race.

Junior Road Nationals JM17-18 Road Race. Chris Barton (Bicycles of Ojai) and Joseph Tokarski nearing the end of the first 27 mile lap, 20 seconds behind the 5 man break, 1 minute ahead of the pack. The two caught the 5 man break within the next mile, and Chris ended up finishing in first place.
